/vg/ is usually slower than /v/ and theres less threads in general, the problem is it's just obvious when threads are on life support and the issue of thread schizos gets amplified to a gorillion degrees. Given how many slapfights already happen in these threads it would probably be worse when a few weeks of institutionalized thread drama have had time to ferment.
