I'm convinced they're all retards. Every single one. The coding team can't code, the balance team can't balance, the writing team can't write, the leadership can't lead, and the QA department can't test. It's a failure at every single stage of the game's development.

It's a fucking mess of spaghetti that unravels if you change one tiny fucking detail. It's on the level of some indie devs first time slapping together blocks of pseudocode. And nobody knows how to unfuck it.

Alexus actively hates the playerbase and is somehow still in charge of balancing things. As long as he works in balance, the weapons in this game will be inconsistent at best and downright dogshit at worst. He knows he can't touch the core arsenal so that will always stay the same, but anything new will be touched by his serbian fetal alcohol syndrome. He is STILL petulant about how he was forced into line to do the 60 day patch and has been doing his best to revert it slowly as time goes on.

The story in this game barely exists and doesn't link together cohesively at all. It's barely even there despite them having a narrative team. Joel is also the fucking worst steward of the galactic war possible. He's the worst of the worst GM tropes all bundled up into a swedish meatball. Blatant railroading, changing the rules on the fly, whatever. And, he IS the main avenue for the story in this game, what little of it we're allowed to participate in.

Time and time again we saw that the only fucking leader capable of making the team do anything decent was Pilestedt. He had to step down and whip the team into the 60 day patch, and when he left, immediately they reversed course. Shams is a fucking snake, and it seems like there ARE no other leaders. Nikolas in the game director but he seems to have zero presence and a completely different ideology than Piles did. Under his stewardship, the game has degraded to the state it's in today.
