Veilguard proves the point. When people were shown the writing and characters, there was immediate backlash. With Bloodlines 2, people being shown the writing and characters has just made them like it more. So again, does something go wrong with the game after the first two hours? Does it fall apart like Bloodlines 1 did? Everything after Santa Monica in BL1 is kind of garbage. Does this game have the same problem? Details, details.

It's not really a Dishonored clone. It's more of a Dark Messiah clone. But it's different to both of those because such a huge focus is placed on player choice and agency. Unlike the first VTMB but moreso Dishonored, this is very much one of those "your choices matter" kind of games, filled with player agency, reactivity to player choices, and so on.

There are pros and cons to both approach. Not a fan of how they've written Phyre in the same gender neutral style as Dead Island 2, though. Not anywhere near a deal breaker, but I find it a little irritating because men and women are treated differently in social interactions, and acting like there's no difference is lazy and retarded.
