I would need to see more raw gameplay further into the game but from what I have seen there are different ways to tackle objectives and traverse the environment. As well as the magic all lead to differing build options catering to that.
Some clans magic are stealth orientated, some combat, some subterfuge and manipulations. Some ranged, others close based.
there is even blink, possession and bend time from dishonored in the game!

The original game is known because of the great writing, rpg opitions and amazing atmosphere. The sequel is known for being ridden with ridiculous development problems and filled with woke shit as of late. The game already made Paradox state that they will not try it again because the disaster cost them already too much money they will never recover . On top of that it will be an UE5 mess.

Both of the games will be free so after you get burned trying the sequel, don't think bad about the first game and gave it a try.

In lore Tremere are can basically shoot blood fireballs and such.

The only thing unique to your clan is your passive. You can learn disciplines and abilities from other clans and mix and match as you see fit.
Different clans have affinity for different disciplines so for example, it would be cheaper and easier for a Toreador to learn the "stop time" celerity ability the banu haqim have access to than it would for the same Toreador to learn Tremere blood magic. But if you want to be a Toreador with blood magic you can do that.
You can also combine these abilities so Toreador have access to a presence ability to charm enemies. Ventrue on the other hand has an ability to make mind effects like presence and dominate affect multiple enemies, so you can learn that and combine it with your Toreador charm ability to affect multiple enemies with it.

The majority did. I was part of the people that defended it. It looked like a broken mess, but it looked like a broken mess I definitely wanted to play if it got amended.
I'm less interested in what's been shown of B2, but it still looks like a decent game with potential to be good if the conversation choices live up to the dev promises.
