I really like when the xenomorph lurks in the background, like in Romulus when it decided not to attack Moner to bait the others into opening the door. I also absolute love it when it shows itself slowly from behind something, again in Romulus right after the elevator falls down, webm related, my favourite scene form the movie by far. These are very unnerving moments for me when I see them for the first time.
