Some anons linked something that Murricans apparently can contact their local politicians about. Europeans could probably start an initiative similar to SKG that demands payment processor neutrality when it comes to exchange of legal goods and services within the EU, and disallows them from freezing transactions / accounts nilly willy based on the company's personal likes and dislikes or political and moral preferences.
While it's pornographic and fanservice content that got hit now, it's not the only type of content to get fucked by VISA, Mastercard and Paypal, nor the first time something like this has happened. They've also previously banned transactions and frozen accounts of free speech advocacy groups, independent media outlets skeptical of government overreach, donations going towards Tor, WikiLeaks finances, and even private citizens. For those living outside USA this is a clear case of foreign companies dictating what is acceptable expression and what is not. This can easily be presented as a nonpartisan issue that voters from both ends of the political spectrum likely want to fight against.
