Out of all the bad things to have happen within the past decade, Cartoon networks SOL and preschool eras of the later 2010s and 2020s has been one of the most rage inducing and soul crushing events to occur for me. My ongoing theory from back in the day is that the then current president of CN at the time preferred TTG over the other types of programs that were currently running on the channle because her vision of CN was for it to be more infantilized and therefore attempted to break neck it into being more for younger kids by spamming TTG and drowning out the older but currently running at the time early 2010s cartoons to less and less time slots until they only had airings for premieres during sunday nights with little to no ads for the premieres. Also around the time of the spam in 2017 alot of CB show were becoming alot more safe and inoffensive compared to the harder edged early 2010s CN shows. This was the era of we bare bears and craig of the creek and summer camp island premiering. And in the end her dream did come to pass-cartoon network had its own preschool block in the form of cartoonito for a while. But at the cost of their built in audience base who left from sheer annoyance at the TTG spam. She got her fucking wish and it killed the channel in the end and i hope she gets hit by a truck someday, fuck that bitch christina miller
