I think it's cool how much you can explore if you look at the places you can go, not the ones you can't go.
There's a big Hyrule field surrounded by lakes in one side, a mountain the other side, the desert. In true linearslop like Minish Cap or nu-FF you move left to right. Left. To right. Lots of popular classic is actually linearslop.
