Reminder that Rabu couldn't get a discount on the theme park, because she isn't a proper student anymore since she dropped out more or less. Drop outs live on the street since all your benefits in this society are linked to your school ID. Your money, discounts, your housing is all tied to your school ID.

While we see Aru using her school ID to buy ammo in the old art, which shows that Aru and PS68 are still proper students who are enrolled and passing school. For the few people that think PS68 are drop outs like the other gangsters. Gehenna standards are so low that you barely have to attend classes and you can still be passing. Aru is a model student.

For me these old teaser images showing daily life in BA world with grenades in vending machines, Kaiser logo on the vending machines, chocomint ramen, guns sold in convenience stores for a few dollars, every girl having their gun at all times even if they're just getting a burger with friends, fuuka driving along the road with a dozen boxes on her bike showing how even normal students have relatively abnormal strength, all that stuff really shows what the soul of BA should be. It's like the normalcy of abnormal things, a world all too familiar yet at the same time slightly devoid of logic. For the students it really is every day life, it captures that normal every day feeling in a world of inhumans that most stories try to capture but can't quite capture, because other stories focus on the abnormal aspect, but BA focuses on the normalcy while it let's the abnormality sit comfortably in the background at all times. It doesn't need to focus on the abnormal stuff for us to know it's there, it feels organic.

Any character that has a halo is a student
The only one we know doesn't go to school is Rabu currently. Also the Sukeban students who all dropped out due to classes being hard. They could easily enroll again but at present they don't want to.

It really doesn't take a lot to remain in school and continue passing since almost all the classes are BD tapes and self reading from what we know. Sensei is the only sensei in Kivotos as already confirmed in a recent interview, Mika in volume 3 says most students will go their entire student lives without seeing a real sensei or being taught by an actual sensei

It's also important to remember that the devs confirmed that terms like sensei, student, school, those terms that sound simple to us don't mean the same thing here that they do in the real world.

When you roll a student it tells you what school they go to and what grade they are, so all rollable students so far are normal students who are still in good standing. Even Wakamo isn't expelled, she's just sort of...suspended a bit

Kanna isn't human, she's a dog person, an animal person
We literally already know there are alt races in this game, it's not some big secret
You can see it says demon on Aru's school ID

Showing me another instance of them mucking it up isn't really proof
The term they used in the raw text is much more vague like "person", the localizers just translate it as "human" not realizing those aren't the same thing at all
The fact the localizers don't get why those terms don't mean the same thing and why they aren't interchangable in a story of fantasy races where the girls were never really called human to begin with is the troubling part

In Kivotos apparently you can't retake your school photo easily, so everyone still has their first year photo on their ID
You can see the same with Kanna

Aru's license literally says she's a demon

And Nagusa recently called herself a Yuki onna, so it's not like they're really subtle about it

Which is one reason I think the localization really fucked up whenever it refers to the girls as humans, when I know that's not the word used in the original script

It's a flash grenades
It's labeled a flash grenades
Suzumi only uses non lethal methods to fight, even though guns aren't lethal at all in this world, so I'm not really sure why she does it

Even the dumbest fuck in Kivotos knows basic tech maintenance and how to build a drone apparently. This is a society where everyone is expected to be able to take apart, clean, and put back together their own guns. Everyone knows basic machinery for the most part most likely. Shiroko bought the drone to do bike riding videos with it, but she attached a bunch of rockets to it in case

This is a libertarian society where you can buy rockets, bombs, and guns in every single vending machine. And they cost like $5

That's no angel, that's a demon
Says it on Aru's ID "race: demon"
