While I wasn't much of a fan of the rest of the game, the final boss fight against Ocelot was truly apex for the story they were trying to get across. It's perfect in that way. Sure, there's way "cooler" fights, just about every boss in MGR:R fits that bill, but this was truly the best fit to encapsulate the rest of the game, and to some extent the entire series.
