there was nothing wrong with df, and no, noone cares about the story. Gameplay wise it was alright but a bit overtuned in season 1 with the insane thundering affix, augmentation got out of control in season 2 etc. Bad thing honestly was the lack of a real 4th season. We used to get 4 raids per expansion, but not anymore I guess.

War within didn't really change the formula much even with Delves, though they are a welcome addition. The real bad part about this expansion is the lack of a new megadungeon, maybe they are devoting more resources to the new housing thing. Also, the mini patches for War Within are beyond empty, literally rehashing BFA content.

I really only play for a few weeks after a patch comes out but as a newish player I don't get why wow players give Blizzard such a pass for the sheer amount of bugs, hotfixes, and nerfs that come out every single patch.

If it's not something like Horrific Visions making a comeback or Lorewalking literally having you redo 18-20 year old quests, the raids themselves reuse the enviroments already existing in the overworld, just throwing some raidbosses in there, instead of designing full raid instances from scratch.
