How's the DDO private server coming along?

The series did absolutely nothing of note during the 7th gen besides the retarded 13 trilogy and then the 8th gen had the FF7 remakes which decided splitting it into 3 games with anime autism stuff would be a good idea and killed all interest with normalfags. 16 was a huge opportunity to bring back interest but completely fucked it up by failing to be either an appeal action game or RPG. The world was also really bland and didn't feel like FF outside of the use of the summons being fantastic.
The people running the show have absolutely no idea what made FF popular even with normal people and instead want to invest in capturing a market that doesn't really exist anymore. All the normalfags I know love FF6 through 12 but haven't played any of the FF games since the actual PS2 era and they have no idea how to recapture that.
