When I was a kid I met an old vet who would ride the train frequently with me and told me out of nowhere one day that his squad didn't take prisoners, and that if the Germans immediately surrendered then they'd shoot them and make it quick, but if the Germans tried to fight it out before surrendering then they'd cut off their noses or ears before lynching them.

The multiplayer "community" of this game consists of eastern Europeans who have no clue what the core of this game is because all they do is play each other over and over in these 5vs5 "NTW" maps where the terrain is virtually featureless, everyone has 40 oil derricks at their base, the energy levels set to high, and they have never played any other RTS.
If you search for WZ2100 multiplayer games on youtube that is pretty much all you will see, If you don't play the game with these settings they act like you don't know the game even though they have no understanding of things as simple as power creep.
They literally think the fucking truth is theirs to define because they are the most vocal players, Which is why they threatened to shut off the game hoster (they have come to depend on) because the devs wouldn't ignore people they disagree with.
