You see, kid, before 2005 anime had this edgy dark phase where it was nothing but dystopian cyberpunk like The Animatrix, GitS, Akira, Blame, Gantz or erotic grindhouse like Kite and wasn't just moeblob crap or generic post Eva rip offs.
When I was 7/8, this was out and it was how I saw anime until 4chan called me a plotfag back in 2009 for thinking that and suggested K-on or some shit instead.

I'm still mad that anime is just dumb shounen or moeshit nowadays. I thought SnK would change things but that never happened. Or that maybe Devilman Crybaby would bring gore and raw nudity back, but Japan is so hyper-conservative and cucked by feminists that this will never happen now.
