Give me 1,3M, not 13, and the pokemon IP and i will make an open world, cross-platform pokemon game where you can choose to start in whichever gen you want, rebalance 90% of shitmons into being somewhat usable (without grossly buffing stats, or giving op moves), buff meme types like ice and bug a little, nerf stealthrockuturnknockoff and all other free click cancer, make the pokemon actually have animations that are unique to each move they use(they still do not to this day, there's like 100-200 moves only or something), do dynamic habitats and ecosystems where you get to observe them actually do shit and not just walk in circles or reside unseen in bushes, have the game actually require you to think and not just press a on your overleveled starter. The game would be objectively superior to almost any pokemon game in existence and it would be absolutely unprofitable.
Give GF a budget of 13.00 USD or 13B, they will shit out the same low effort pile of shit as usual and it would be their most selling game yet.
The brand is unbelievably powerful and the playerbase ungodly subhuman. They ARE doing everything right.
