Combat, music and level design are good. Story and characters? These fucking suck.

The setting itself is good but the characters are just there and the story is not only non-existent but halfway through it it just stops. The main antagonists gone, your friends die, 1 betrays you (only comes back a few hours later for you to kill him) and there's like 30 hours more of game after this event till you get to the end of the game where there is absolutely no story or character interactions at all. Nothing.

This game got a lots of 8's and 9's and I have no idea how this even happened, this game feels unfinished even its Vengeance form. It don't deserve those scores. If you actually want a Jrpg with decent story, characters and combat then just play FF7R or E33. Even Ys X is a better choice unless you just want to grind and grind and autistically customize demonic pokemons, then SMTV is a decent choice but if you're expecting more than that then avoid it like the plague.

Still has very charming and interesting art direction because of the highly detailed pre-rendered backgrounds. The world feels real and intriguing. All FF games have always been good at portraying worlds that feel like they exist somewhere else separate from ours. Most Jrpg's just feel like either an extension of ours or some anime bullshit but not FF. These always come with their own original history, traditions and lore full of gods and creation and existence and all that stuff that gives it substance and meaning... And they do this again and again with every single game. It's not just a trillion sequels like Resident Evil or whatever slop retards play nowadays, these are all original games each one of them.

You guys just seem to be too low IQ to realize why FF for decades have been one of the biggest, most important and influential franchises in gaming but you talk so much shit you have managed to convince the younger generations to ignore it and is stuck with only a few bitter old men caring about it even though the "bad" games aren't even bad when put in perspective.

Been using this to learn how to use a whetstone. Is this a solid way to sharpen? My stone (King) has severe dishing and I don't know if Im using too much pressure or sharpening too much or shit technique or what. Its 1k/6k. 6k is fine. I have cheap ass knives and the edge while razor sharp seems to last 3 weeks at most.
