Americans as a subhuman race genuinely needs Jesus and the threat of eternal damnation to not kill each other on sight. They simply do not have the mental maturity or capacity to be naturally good people or behave normally without the idea that they will be punished by an all-knowing being for their wrongdoings.
All the worst among them are always extremely anti-Christian for that reason. The moment they no longer believe they are accountable before god they go 100% satanic psycho deviant.
