90% of Dawntrails post-release content (I mean like literally everything, duties, gear, clothing, instances, aesthetics, mounts etc.) has been cyberslop.
For an expansion that's supposed to be sucking off South America so much, they really seem like they'd much rather be sucking off Cyberpunk Edgerunners, which came out 9 months after Endwalker and then there were 22 more months after that until Dawntrail dropped. Plenty of time to "pivot". And Yoshi P has a track record of "I like that anime!" being how he decides where FFXIV goes next.
