Things to look out for are bad power steering and rattle from the intake cam gear on cold start.
The clutch master cylinder could go bad too if the fluid isn't changed. Very reliable overall and can get fair mileage under good conditions.

I love you buddy, but you picked the worst possible example. I don't think a 5at tsx would beat this mileage on a long highway or b road stretch and its not like you're rowing gears in that situation
