Why is there so much hatred of Indians all over social media?
I thought Indians were supposed to be a "model minority" or whatever and were in the good books, but now there are constant jokes about them all over TikTok, X, and social media in general, and it doesn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing either
What happened that triggered this? From "street shitter" jokes to "curry muncher" punchlines and "subcontinent" insults, this dehumanizing is just going unchecked... those jokes used to be kind of funny but now the discussion everywhere has become aggressive, scary, and loaded with eugenic subtext, and no one seems to care the way they do in instances of racism against other groups
People are cribbing about Indian immigrants making the housing crisis and job crisis worse, but Trump is running a program to bring in more White immigrants and somehow everyone is okay with it then? Indians are accused for "not assimilating", but I don't really get that either since the vast majority of Indians brought in mind their own business, don't commit crime, speak English, work and study hard, and are hygienic despite a handful of viral clips going around that are cruelly used to stereotype the entire demographic as vermin

I hate being Indian
I just can’t anymore. I feel like everyone hates me for something I couldn’t control. Why can’t my countrymen just sort the place out? Why do I have to face the burden of stereotypes I don’t perpetuate? Why the hell did I have to be born this way???? I’ve tried so hard to like myself, find comfort in words of support from others, but no matter what, it’s the hate that finds its way into my heart. I try to tell myself that racist people are just ignorant, but the sheer volume of it that I see just breaks me internally. I feel like I’m losing my mind. I can look at things objectively, understand why things are the way they are in India and in the Indian community, and yet I can never truly accept it in a way that can give me any form of peace because NO ONE ELSE SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND OR WANT TO UNDERSTAND!!! People fucking enjoy hating us, heck people want to hate us. Why? Why does our misery make them so happy???? I can’t even look at my parents anymore. They smile at me so genuinely every day not knowing the things people say about them. How do I even tell them any of this? They’ve done nothing wrong and yet people want them dead. I’m so over this.

I live in rural Northern Florida and I’ve only seen a few when visiting Orlando and other cities, and they were usually just tourists or students. Nothing remarkable, except the weird red dot and clothes the women wear, and kinda weird smelling.

Say what you want about these goofy-ass niggas, but you got to admit that their Sigma grindset is kind of admirable. They will go to any corner of the planet just to make it.
