I'm pretty sure you're supposed to hate him pretty instantly, they're not exactly subtle about it.
You know for as much as the writer for this arc onward was shitting on the writer for the first 2 arcs, I'm not exactly being blown away here.
It's every bit as much Recycling P5 Characters/Themes but
>it takes itself too seriously given the cartoony villainous nature of Akashi and the Two Btiches
>it's very lazily heavy handed on what a "good teacher" and blah blah blah is, sometimes nosy karens really do need to mind their own fucking business
>and it somehow made an EVEN WORSE MAKOTO
It really feels like this guy thinks making Kumi into incoherent pitybait deserves some kind of huge reward.
He should be thanking the art team that Kumi and Riko are carrying his ass, because I feel like this would've gotten roasted if these 2 weren't attractive.
