not every game is someone's forever game, you know. I feel like at the absolute highest end, once the honeymoon ends and I've gotten all I can out of the story without paying up, I'll be playing a few rounds of career every month or so just cause I like raising sims.
These games are like playing scratch off cards, except after you either waste six months of your life hoarding tickets (or spend $400) you're guaranteed to win $50. I'd rather just enjoy a cheeky 10 pull every once in a blue moon instead of being obsessed with doing everything the right way. Up to and including rerolling my account 7000 times, but that's an entirely different conversation.
As much as I'm enjoying this game I have a ton of complaints and they all keep coming back to the simple fact that it's a gacha. Even outside of the monetization being frustrating, the way people talk about playing it and tell other people how to do better just amounts to "it's all luck, either don't value your time or open the wallet to mitigate that."
