yes the town missions are shit but at least they're short, and the parts where you switch characters are still in their own section going from point a to point b
and regardless of how shit some of the playstyle controls are, you're still progressing
meanwhile multiple shadow missions require to find and kill every single enemy in the level that can take over 15 fucking minutes especially if you missed one in a fucking random ass corner
