Each chapter has a hidden boss, making 4 total. Keep your eyes peeled for secrets.
Equipment actually matters, including weapons.
There's also a secret egg in every chapter, but they're really out of the way and hard to find on your own. I don't blame you for using a guide.
There is an alternative route you can pursue that involves a certain character. I recommend looking up a guide on how to do it. Also, save this for a second playthrough.
