I have seen some people say the normal route will be the route where we defy the prophecy, while snowgrave will be the one where we actually follow the prophecy, while some people say the opposite thing. I have a question about all this, I haven't played Snowgrave/Weird route Chapter 3+4 yet, but, in that route, does Carol still say to Kris the "You are welcome here anytime" line? I ask, because I assume Carol knows about the prophecy, and wants it to actually happen(I have no proof of this beyond simple gut feeling), so when she says that in the normal route, it could be a sign that means that, so far, everything is going according to plan, which means that, if she doesn't say that in the weird route, well, maybe that means we really are going off-rails, instead of being the normal route the one where we're actually not following the prophecy.

Every chapter has an "Egg Room". Some are easier to find than others. They might not be that important, but you might want to look for them if you're interested.

Equipment actually matters, including weapons.
There's also a secret egg in every chapter, but they're really out of the way and hard to find on your own. I don't blame you for using a guide.
There is an alternative route you can pursue that involves a certain character. I recommend looking up a guide on how to do it. Also, save this for a second playthrough.

Every chapter has a secret boss, which you might not be able to find, so take a copy of your save file at some points during the chapters and read about the bosses and go back once you've beaten the chapter. You can't go back to complete the bosses later. I think this is the only thing that's really important and missable.
