I'm having trouble looking this up (i'm retarded) - cards that appear in the special arts sets (think those 3x3 "picture" things from the Lord of the Rings set), do they appear elsewhere as well or are you literally forced to buy those products if you want one of those cards?

Simply say the deck is no fun and you'll be content to sit this one out if he keeps playing it.
Alternatively, kill yourself ingame intentionally by never declaring blockers when he attacks you. He probably won't think it's very fun, and the rest of the pod will pick up on it too.
Alternatively 2.0 , literally only focus him. Use all your removal exclusively on eldrazi shit.
Alternatively 3.0 , literally only focus the other players. While his eldrazi is attacking them, remove their blockers. Enable him completely and they'll hate him for winning.

I didn't even really mind the "space" or "scifi" theme, but the set was so extremely uninteresting and forgetful.
There's no cards that had art that stood out all that much, nor any character (beyond based lobster) that stood out or made you care about them.
