I usually just use a user.js file. Not Arken though. Firefox comes preinstalled in most distros so it's easier to just copy a file and having most of the things you need preconfigured exactly how you need them.
I'd use gnu/icecat though if I had easy access to it 'cause I'm a librefag and love me some gnu.

Even debians DFSG (debian free software guidelands) now include rules that have nothing to do with the software itself. Like anti discriminatory conditions.
Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to advocate racism or anything like that but is the DFSG really the place for it? You can have different policies for different aspects for running a community.
Anyway, I wish people dissociated software with their ideological bs already and just focused on releasing free software that can be used by friend and enemy alike.
