Watering down what makes these colors unique has always frustrated me. WotC have been doing this since Time Spiral and I've hated every time they normalize changes like this, but before other people used to hate it too, now nobody seems to care.

>A red spell that wants to do a non-red thing? Just make sure there's a discard cost!
It got so much worse since they started designing around commander and I firmly believe it's the reason we're in the situation we're in today.
