That's a reasonable scenario. I don't think you're in the wrong there at all and I would feel the exact same way in your position. But I just don't think it happens that often. Most people aren't coke addicts or have some massive red flags like that. In my experience, the people you guys are rejecting and shitting on are socially awkward guys. I wouldn't even mind extrovert social butterflies doing it, but when it's fellow autists twisting that dagger even deeper, it just hurts.
