Are there any mechs Scorpions/Scorpion Empire is particularly known for? Thinking of getting Alpha Strike and using clan side of it as a starting point for Empire as a foray into later era maybe.

I feel like the best you can hope for with that is a goliath scorpion seeker.
Goliath scorpion and the scorpion empire is probably the most interesting and least hamfisted clanners have ever been and ever will be written. And it still involved a clan effortlessly steamrolling a pretty interesting and unique deep periphery state.
