yeah, it was clever of frank to sew those seeds of doubt about whether or not paul and leto could be justified in their actions. keeps us talkin' about it after all this time. i'm wildly curious to see what's done in the next film. i doubt anyone will ever attempt an adaptation of god emperor, and something tells me DV plans to go way off-book, almost like as sort of alternate timeline. i'm not wholly opposed to that IF they can pull off a compelling story that pays off well.

the early 2000s children of dune miniseries is surprisingly good. obviously the special effects are pretty dated, but it's got strong performances and hits the big story beats well. highly recommended.
