just did an ascension run while trying to lock in a nice build for one of my alt teams, and at level 40 going into the level 50+ ascension the difficulty increase is noticeable. had to actually watch my positioning the whole time and make good choices for cards while also being thankful for the healing npcs that I used to think were useless. spending hp on upgrades became a real consideration for once. also found out that I was building the discs completely wrong and how to utilize notes and unlocking disc abilities properly. also level your monolith research, the bonuses are great.
