As someone who browses old websites through the wayback machine on a regular basis, it was soooo much better than it is now. I've been struck-dumb for damn near 15 years at how people continue to use inferior devices to do anything computer-related, let alone use the existence of inferior devices to justify the horrific downgrades in user experience we've all been subject to as a result.

Going back and browsing old gaming websites on the Wayback Machine is when I realized it was simply better when web design was catered toward PCs. In fact, every time I'm reminded that something like 92.5% of YouTube's web traffic is smartphones/tablets, I get the wind knocked out of me a little bit.
