I still don't understand why people soured so much on older HTML designs. There was a variety to it, and it would force webpages to have content and accessible navigation to them.
Eventually they became replaced with a very sterile design, which was then the gateway into making the web more accessible for mobile users. It's just one downgrade after the other. And complain about jeets all you want but the decline truly started when it went to web 2.0 and then to making the web more mobile friendly.
