How are you preparing for the last years of the internet in your country? It's going to be completely locked down behind digital ID and censorship. We're going to be made ignorant again.

Why are people here so convinced 4chan won't be banned? We should be planning where to go.

Lads I'm becoming very worried that in a few years you'll need a digital ID just to access the Internet

2025 is one grim year lads. I'm 29 now and it's the first time I've really felt old.
I miss the 2010s, especially the period from around 2011-2015. It was a better time. Not that it was a paradise, probably the late 1990s were the last real "good times" but everything is worse now: threats of war, censorship, living costs, decaying infrastructure, gaming. It's all shit and there's no hope for the future. It's terrifying to me that 2015 was a decade ago. It feels like barely yesterday. We're halfway through the 2020s and it's just been endless misery: lockdowns, inflation, Boriswave, war etc.
It's also depressing how sanitised, sterilised and corporate the Internet is now. The Internet of my childhood is largely long gone aside from this site, and the likely 4chan ban in this country is just the cherry on the cake. I suppose I'll just have to find forums to post on again.
Anyone else feeling completely listless, dejected and nostalgic?
