DE was not going out of their way to antagonise a private discord group of severely autistic transgender players when they wrote Jade Shadows or created the character of Jade.
I can say with certainty that they did not predict the deranged contents of THAT forum post, because nobody did, and it has not interrupted the positive interaction between DE and the LGBT section of the player base in the intervening years.
