177 is for Eidolons and worthless everywhere else.
For general use you want x47 (with x being your favourite prism between 1 2 4 5 7). The x4x ricochets between enemies and allows you to revive. You need Eternal Eradicate and Eternal Onslaught on your amp (both from Zariman) to actually do damage, though. Madurai and Unairu are used to further boost your amp damage. You can't kill shit in late steel path onwards without Madurai, though. It's the only viable endgame school.

to kill level cap enemies you should either
a: void strike -> headshot with amp
if void strike is on cooldown because you fucked up
b: spam contamination wave so that your arcanes trigger -> headshot with amp

Mostly the setting its another 99 year if its post 1999 not only is there too little tech to be found but the world has also already gone to shit from the infestation and should mostly be overgrown vegetation. It also can't be too far post 99 either as the orokin would've started to form and entrati couldn't be getting away with his proto shit in secret. There's also the issue of proto wisp and harrow worshipping sol and lua when far post 99 future societies worship the void. The fashion, architecture, way they speak and environment all hint to it being pre 1999 probably in the 17th or 18th century or something

The issue I was having, is tons of Guardian Eximus flooding the room, which I think buff eachother as well as the other types, plus some leech eximus that were constantly regenerating the HP of the ones I was trying to focus down. Not even my Crewmate could help, since he was instantly killed by one due to the crowd density. It was insanely unfortunate.

I ended up feeling oddly defeated because I was always stomping that mission whether I brought stealth cheese or not, and went to a pub conjunction instead, we had a faggot go afk at 2 minutes in and the whole thing fell apart so I just left for the day. My patience for having fun hijacked in Warframe is very thin which is why I take long breaks.

rhino is very good and will carry you through the star chart. Join a clan as fast as you can as it nets you access to a ton of weapons and other resources you'll need. solo will just make it take longer, only play solo if you dont want to be interrupt by someone trying to leave when you're doing a side objective. Yes, you can easily join a low-activity one where nobody cares or a noob friendly one, it doesn't matter as long as they have research completed. You will need access to a lot of different blueprints from the clan dojo, and access to a clan trading post can be extremely helpful further down the line.

A lot of content in this game is more focused and enjoyable in solo than in a public squad, but you should try both from time to time. You'll find some missions a lot more manageable with help. Relic fissure missions are best done in a squad so you have a better choice of rewards. You also earn xp from other players' kills in range, this helps level your gear very quickly when you unlock Sanctuary Onslaught or anything else with hordes of enemies.

They recently changed this, if you fail the mastery test you can keep attempting it as many times as you want. When you succeed, there's a 1-day cooldown before you can rank up again, but this won't matter to you unless you're mindlessly grinding xp on different equipment all day.

Nidus is also good. Health tanker, which some see as a downside. Stack health and armor as well as Adaptation if you have it. His kit is solid, if a bit dated. Dont neglect ability range.
