I haven't bought a single remake or remastered since Warcraft 3 Reforged.
Any possible optimism I had about the concept of remakes died with that game

What makes me laugh the most is they all have a fanbase that will never follow the message of the shows in full.

And i say this not to praise steven universe because it's still a low quality aids shitshow, but i still remember that episode where steven was stuck in some space human zoo, and basically that episode was teaching the audience that safe spaces are BAD, steven himself tells the ultra sensitive humans in that zoo love and acceptance is not a right given to you just because you exist, negative emotions also exist, rejection and opposition also exist. And this alone caused all the humans who grew up in the zoo to have a huge mental breakdown, i've never seen another more inspiring episode in the series that can describe modern communities and their audiences so well.

Same for undertale when the topic is violence, same for sonic full of fat people in a show where the characters run fast.
