If there were more compelling first party titles, and had full legacy BC, then I would fully agree with you that it's the best PS system since 2 and 3
It is actually a pretty damn nice system held back by the current competency crisis across the industry.
Now that family's played Rebirth and I beat Astro, Granblue and Shadow Generations, mine is basically just a PS4 Pro+ until something else shows up, and I didn't really have much on PS4 either and this is just me playing catch up just slightly enhanced.
