Llorefag here. I maintain my own giant lorebook.
Give me questions if you want. It doesn't need to be related to th20 by itself.

I didn't close from the sheer amount of secondhand shame, which was a good sign.
Lorefag who regularly updates his own lorebook here. Realistically, if you really want to delve into this concept, some locations are more tempting than the others:
- Human Village. This is self-explanatory, but there is another element that others miss: there should be a small community of former Outsiders within the village. You can learn from them.
- Hakurei Shrine. Reimu is usually depicted as easygoing; as soon as you promise free labor, you can stay around the shrine. You still have to convince her to not follow the usual procedure of kicking outsiders out, but then again, free labor. You still have to feed yourself and have your own roof over your head, but you now have an excuse to be around Gensokyo's most important location. The catch: no wage while sustaining yourself.
- Scarlet Devil Mansion. If you have a silver tongue, you can convince Remilia to take you in both as a manservant and a curiosity. You are more useful than a fairy maid, right?
- Myouren Temple. Byakuren would take you in just because you are a human who wants to mingle around youkai, but the others would also push her to take you in not just because of the previous reason, but also because you're an outsider too.
- Eientei. You might try giving yourself up as Eirin's guinea pig.
No dice: Forest of Magic, Youkai Mountain and the Tengu/Kappa settlement, Former Hell, Bhavaagra. Moriya Shrine is debatable if you want to offer yourself as a servant boy to trigger Kanako and Suwako's thirst (some sweet-talking needed.)
