Walhart is misrepresented in Awakening. The intro the chapter 19 is fucked.

>*Sigh* If only there were someone with the intellect to appreciate my talents...
>ああーん! アタシってば、すごーい!まさに神の如き軍略。。。。。!?
Excellus's line here directly leads into Walhart's rant. So it's important that they keep the "神の如き軍略". Some form of "god-like strategy". Not god-like as in amazing but actual divinity deity.
> 我は神を超えていく者
>Who is greater than the Gods?
This is why he's pissed. He's greater than the gods but in the ENG it's about Excellus's intellect instead of the deity part. And this is really significant because of Fire Emblem Gaiden. Walhart is a descendant of Alm. Alm killed the gods(well just Duma)that ruled and made humanity the rulers in place of the gods. Walhart is following in Alm's footsteps. >エクセライ、その策は無用。
In the JP he's saying Excellus's plan is worthless. For Walhart a "divine strategy" or tactic just isn't needed. It's not about no one appreciating Excellus's intellect. Walhart is pissed that Excellus would even imply that such a strategy is necessary,
>ヴァ、ヴァルハルト陛下!?何を血迷ったことを!?
Excellus is asking what set Walhart off. He doesn't understand why Walhart seeming losing it. And you can't blame Excellus because he was just saying the strategy was really good. Yet Walhart is talking about surpassing gods. But to us it makes more sense assuming you know the connection to Alm. The ENG's
