It's offensively not funny. It may actually offend some people, but it should at least be funny. It's more of a movement than actual fandom and comedy. People are watching it because they feel a tribal connection to "the message", which is getting pretty old now that they are successfully pushing it a few years now.

Yes, you clearly can. And you always could. None of them got "canceled". No one did anything. They're "getting away with it". So when does it get funny. The whole meta discussion is over. They have the power now apparently. Most of us are ignoring it because it's not of quality, but they are free to be funny whenever they want to start.
