And prior to about a year ago, Ukraine wasn't even being allowed to hit into Russia, by NATO and backers, and since, Ukraine has hit multiple factories and explosive storage. Most recently in addition to multiple oil separation facilities, Ukraine seems to have hit the armor painting facility in Moscow setting it to a huge blaze.
As for the land grabs, you can look at any map you want, if I'm wrong it should be obvious.
