Nasu-san’s love for Elden Ring is well-known among fans, but we didn’t realize he was so deeply attached to it…

>Nasu:
Another recent title I'd mention is Expedition 33, made by a French studio that clearly respects JRPGs.
It’s a game that reignited my passion—it really got me in a lot of ways.
Unlike traditional RPGs that inflate their scope and stretch out the playtime, this game takes the opposite approach: it’s compact and can be completed in about 20 hours if you go straight through.
Still, every battle, even the random ones, is incredibly detailed It's designed in a way that completely satisfies the player within 20 hours. If you stray off the main path, you’ll find bosses waiting all over the world—those battles are thrilling and fun. While it’s based on JRPGs, it’s a game born from ideas that Japanese developers wouldn’t come up with.

He must have speedran the story a bit if he beat it in just 20 hours. I'm almost 100 hours in and I'm still exploring the continent, searching for soundtracks, lost gestrals and grinding to beat Simon.

I guess he doesn't have the time right now to really dig in, considering also he's putting Nightreign for later, so I imagine he just tried to get as much out of it as possible with his free time when he was hearing all the overwhelmingly positive feedback about E33.

Why did they play a part of une vie a rever in the credits for Verso's ending? For Maelle's it plays Maelle which makes sense, but that isn't Verso's theme, it's Painted Alicia's theme. Every other time it plays in the game it's about her (the stinger in the act 1 finale, the letter cutscene in act 2, that part of the Reacher and the Painted Love boss).
It's a good song and wasn't used in its entirety but still, weird choice. Should've played a different arrangement of his theme instead.
