Canadian teams haven't won a cup in 30 some years cause canadian players don't even want to play for them. Most of them put the teams on their no trade clauses. Some say they don't like the notoriety of playing in Canada but most of it has to do with paying more in taxes on their mega deals. Florida has won 4 of the last 5 cups cause the sign players for millions less cause of floridas tax laws.
