I am not from Alberta so I dont care about the oilers. I have seen Canada win enough at hockey in my lifetime that I could care less which franchise wins the stanley cup ( my province doesnt even have a team)

It is the equivalent to saying Canada was the best basketball nation in 2019 because the Toronto Raptors won the NBA championship

There is a reason why Americans will never bring up international hockey. The last time they won a gold medal was in 1980 and they never actually win anything so they count Stanley cups as victories. The flordia Panthers have 25 players, only 5 of them are americans
