โข Second-most combined regular and postseason wins in first three years as a quarterback: 36 (tied with Dan Marino)

>>149450900Not terrible, but could use some work.
There are other issues, but the ones that stand out the most are that Nix, Caleb, and Poopscott are two tiers too high.
>>149450900Anthony Richardson shouldn't even be on the list at all. His presence immediately invalidates the rest of the list.
Anthony Richardson is what Lamar's detractors think Lamar is. He's actually a runningback who can't pass for shit.
>>149450900Gayleb is not better than a single QB om the tier below him except Russ
>>149450892>>149450895I'm just saying statistically speaking a QB is less likely to win without an elite defense since they play half the game sitting on the bench and are reliant on the defense. Brady won the life lottery of teams to join, he had 2 decades of elite defense. This allowed him to win multiple playoff games with stinker performances where he had 2 or more interceptions and 0 pass TDs. He even won a superbowl where he had 0 pass TDs and multiple intercpetions but the defense carried him.

>>149451222We've seen the best of Mahomes. The reason what made him effective was his ability to take off and run up the middle when all his receivers were covered and or double teamed. He then goes the extra mile by sliding late or flopping at the sidelines to draw flags like a literal soccer player. That's his startegy.
Eventually age will catch up and his running won't be as effective and starting this season, roughing the passer flags can be picked up after review. That's the nail in the coffin for him.
Those QBs you mentioned are far better processors than Mahomes. That's what allowed them to have great and long careers. Mahomes production is already falling off a cliff and he'll be completely washed when he's forced to fully rely on processing and making reads

CPOTY: Justin Fields
Fields is entering year 5 where things often click for QBs. His WRs are upgraded with the tandem of Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams being better than most can ask for. The WR they drafted, Malachi Corley, is a legit deep threat that they can rotate out with a true X in Mike Williams depending on the situation. Most importantly they landed the best Tackle in the draft who will solidify the right side of the line, but possibly play all around it wherever necessary.
The Jets are going to score points, that much is known, they put up points with an actual garbage Offense last year but just couldn't overcome the defense. Thankfully, they've made several key additions. They have objectively the best and deepest LB room in the league, which doesn't mean as much as it used to but in Glenn's system LBs are largely impactful. They triple tapped at DT in the draft which is the engine of this scheme and will be able to create a constant wave of consistent play each game with the depth that was already there. It's not much but it's enough to take pressure off the honestly great secondary which was the only bright spot on defense last year.
Most importantly it's enough to make sure the Jets will actually be able to close out games this year. With Rodgers gone the division is basically ours, and with the AFC being so garbage the Conference should belong to us as well. Sorry Dolphins fans but Tua has zero DAWG in him unlike Fields.

You just admitted he's a ref baby who baits for flags. Oh and everytime I bring up the holding o line you mention that the right tackle has the most holding calls or something. Yes that's because they hold every down and they know the refs won't call it 100% of the time so they'll take the risk. Richard Sherman said he did the same thing when he played in Seattle, little tick tack holds here and there because he knew he wasn't going to get flagged every time. But the shit that the Chiefs got away with was absolutely laughable. All these hold calls and ZERO in their 3 Super Bowl wins? Hmmmm
Oh and Chiefs O line will literally wear gloves that resembles the opponent teams uniform so the holding calls are harder to spot.

Because he didn't 3peat he's going to have to put in the time.
>>149451642It benefits the popularity of a sport to be able to sell to the fans that the greater player of all-time is currently playing. NFL realized this part way through Brady and started shilling him like crazy. After Mahomes 50 td season the league targets him as the newest GOAT and starts shilling him to replace Brady. The NFL has profit sharing so when the NFL makes more money, it benefits every owner.
>>149452099>greater player of all-time is currently playingIt's wise of them to do this. Look at how shitty the NBA is. They had one of the lowest rated finals in decades since nobody knows the name of the kids currently playing. Leagues need dynasties and super stars.
>>149452080>the NFL has expanded replay assistance to potentially allow officials to pick up previously thrown flags for roughing the passer, as well as other penalties, when there's clear video evidence of an incorrect callIt's over for Mahomes :)
>>149452137When KC makes it back to the Owl, what will your cope be then?
>>149451728>See picrel.Bulk penalty stats do not tell the story, not all penalties are equal depending on situation and what happens next. You could false start three times in a row, get pushed back, and then have a roughing the passer or pass interference penalty that gives you an automatic first down and its a net gain but the net penalties and penalty yardage will look like you were hurt by the refs. Additionally, with a penalty like holding, you can get called on it a lot while still doing it far more often than it is getting called and benefit from the refs while still seeming to be on the high end of being flagged for it. Look at the legion of boom seahawks who basically taught their DBs to play physical on purpose knowing that the refs aren't going to call it every play. You can only judge penalties on a case-by-case basis for whether each flag should have been called or not, and if you watch the games you see that the Chiefs often benefit from phantom calls and blind refs.
>>149451980>Cooper is a masculine given name of English origin. Its meaning is โbarrel makerโWhat exactly do you need explained?
>>149452175>not all penalties are equal depending on situation and what happens next.Hence the reason I posted the middle image which showed a lot of the penalties happened in the crucial 4th quarter. Your entire argument is defeated.
>>149452043The defender is allowed to.
>>149452128Yeah NBA with Jordan is the perfect non-NFL example. Soccer does well with hyping Messi and Ronaldo as well.
>>149452189The quarter it takes place in means very little. If anything, refs intentionally helping a team would tend to do it earlier in the game rather than waiting until the last moment when it is the most obvious. Stats can be used to make any argument, the only way to know the truth is to watch the games and see the individual plays that clearly are wrong. The Chiefs benefit from those types of calls more than anyone else, and then get called for other BS to hide it.
>>149452198>>149451949The defender grabs the dude's chest and refuses to let go and is flailing around to try to bait a holding call. The veteran refs knew what he was doing and let the play run. That's also how they were reffing the game at the moment where they were letting everyone be more physical. In fact, the reason the Juju Smith penalty bothered people is because of how physical the refs were letting both teams play up until that point.
Jackson Mahomes is the 2nd gayest brother lol
>>149452242You are completely wrong. What the defender is doing is not a penalty, what the offensive lineman is doing is a penalty and should be called.
>>149452170If they make it back with no ref holding o line bullshit? I'll tip my cap. I don't have a hatred for the Chiefs or Mahomes.
>>149452265>What the defender is doing is not a penalty, what the offensive lineman is doing is a penalty and should be called.I didn't say the defender was committing a penalty I was said he was trying to bait a holding call by grabbing the guy's chest and then flailing his arms around as if he was being held. The refs saw right through it. He could have broken free at any moment and tried to get towards Mahomes but he knew he didn't have the speed to close that gap so the best option was to bait a holding flag.
>>149452242>>149452265Linemen should never be called for holding
>>149451642>The Chiefs are a small market.That doesn't matter for a national sport.

In addition to the Raiders franchise records we've discussed on previous episodes of Derek Carr Memorial Fact of the Day, Derek Carr also tops the list for most games with a passer rating over 100.0, with 47.
After signing with the New Orleans Saints, Carr would go on to register 13 more 100.0+ passer rating games, including seven games with a passer rating of 120.0 or more. What's even more impressive is that he did this in just 27 games with the team.
Carr's career passer rating with the Raiders (91.8) ranks him first in team history and in his Saints stint, his passer rating (98.8) ranks him second in team history, behind only Drew Brees. For his entire career, Carr's passer rating (92.8) ranks 24th on the NFL's all-time leader board.

>San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir was arrested in Los Angeles on Thursday.
>Multiple reports say police approached a group of people and saw a gun in a parked car. When they asked the man with the keys to hand them over, that man threw the keys to Lenoir, who refused to allow the officers to have access to the car.
>The precise charges Lenoir is facing is unclear. According to TMZ.com, the charge is resisting a peace officer. According to NBCBayArea.com, the charge is obstruction of justice.
>The 49ers drafted Lenoir out of Oregon in the fifth round in 2021. After mostly being a backup defensive back and special teams player as a rookie, he has started for the last three years. In November, Lenoir signed a five-year, $92 million contract extension.

>Yeah, why doesn't everybody just play at an MVP level until their mid-40's? How hard can it be?I've already debunked this. All time great players put up better stats as they age barring a career altering injury. Mahomes will be putting up more yards in his late 30s than in his early 20s.
