There's no true PG archetype in the NBA anymore since everyone is expected to be able to handle the ball, shoot, pass. The way the systems in the NBA are implemented now that type of role is a thing of the past. Probably. Ayton has by far the most talent but his current effort and focus is questionable and he’s kind of a mediocre rim runner, he plays soft on offenses.
Robert Williams is fucking great but he’s so injury prone he’s a major risk for any serious team.
Claxton. Great, biggest weakness though is his free throw percentage is fucking garbage and will be used against him in the playoffs.
Kessler. Also great, but the JAZZ are petty fucks who only trade if they can bleed a team.

Agree on Ayton but he turned it on at the end of last year for Portland and I think he'd be motivated on the Lakers. Williams would probably be perfect for LA but he has insanely bad knees that will probably haunt him the rest of his career so you're right that his injuries are a major risk. Kessler is a legit 12-12-3(blocks) Center and will probably cost a LOT to get for LA but he would probably be worth it because he is sitll so young and can grow with Luka. Personally I don't see the fuss with Claxton especially for his contract.
