Present the trophy on-ice immediately after the team clinches. Exactly when the President's Trophy is presented seems to vary team-by-team and year-by-year. It often seems to be presented to the fans and team prior to the last home game of the winning team, such as in 2019 and 2018. The 2010 Capitals were presented their trophy during the 1st intermission of a game against the Thrashers. In 2007, the Sabres got theirs before the first game of the following season. There is often a presentation at the NHL awards ceremony as well. Video of President's Trophy presentations is hard to find, as is reporting. This trophy is easily one of the most challenging trophies to win in sports and it is completely downplayed by the league and everyone involved. This trophy should get an on-ice presentation, just like the Stanley Cup, immediately following the game where it is clinched, it should be in the building, there should be heavy promotion of its presence.
