People who don't watch a single Bundesliga game all season but see that Bayern won it 11 times in a row think it's boring. People who actually follow it know that that isn't the case. For example , Bayern were 7th in the fall of 2019. The fact that other teams can't stay consistent to defeat Bayern over a whole season makes it uninteresting to someone who has watched exactly 0 minutes. Imagine reading a movie review from someone who didn't even watch the movie...

The league has been stale and stagnating for years. That's just how it is. It's a problem but people are not ready to discuss reform. SUch cases.

just get rid of Bayern. it is that simple
European Super League would have solved the Bundesliga conundrum. Ridiculous all German clubs were against it.

It would have replaced the CL not the leagues, it's insane how easily UEFA propaganda altered people's perceptions on the ESL

>"Bayern were 7th in the fall of 2019. The fact that other teams can't stay consistent to defeat Bayern over a whole season"
i.e. Bayern can shit the bed and give all other teams a head start and still win it.
How does that disprove anything?
lol

The issue is Bayern's closest rival for the title is a feeder club for them. The bundesliga is no better than Ligue 1 in my eyes

I just know you don't follow those closely. Both are a one team farmer league but there's still a recognizable quality gap throughout.

Germans used to be okay with Bayern dominating because Bayern used to field the german national team which would build chemistry and get results in international tournaments but now Bayern are dominating but without the german players and the league is not enjoyable to germans because of that.

Bundesliga is much worse, as much as I hate saying it. It's unwatchable for non-Germans, Germans themselves only keep going because of club allegiance, the competition for other spots, and memories of better days

Dortmund no longer feeds Bayern almost exclusively like they used to, now their players are sold to other top clubs across Europe. Bayern mostly buys players from other leagues nowadays. Funnily enough, Dortmund has taken over Bayern's role as the one that ransacks smaller German clubs for their players at affordable fees.
Anonymous United Kingdom No.150090875
the fans think they achieved something by stopping the super league. really, the issue is the cl. it should be straight knockout and a lot less games/guaranteed games for the big boys. will the fans protest and boycott the cl if they don't comply. i doubt it

They don't do it THAT often, they just sweep rivals every few years. Taking Götze and Lewandowski was enough to get rid of Dortmund. After having trouble with Leverkusen, they tried getting Tah and Wirtz, but they only got Tah
Dortmund is worse at buying Bundesliga rivals
Of course, both should be hindered. Not that Dortmund really needs to be stopped that way, they are terrible on their own already
I'd just distribute the TV money more evenly, that would hurt Bayern and Dortmund. Unfortunately, it's never going to happen - Bayern would shut it down early by complaining, and it it actually happened, they would just market themselves
Anonymous Germany No.150095124
The biggest problem right now is the total lack of talent and the shit football being played in the league. Everyone is just resigned to buying "French" youth. German talent doesn't get played anymore, Bayern has no German players except these cursed Goretzka gen shitters. The NT is reduced to starting mid table Stuttgart players. Tactics are horrid, it's not even Gegenpressing anymore, it's just French "youth" running like apes. I still blame Bayern for ruining the competition after 2013. They salted the fields for German football.

It is grim. I primarily care about my club, that's the most important part ... but as a neutral, it's unbearable.
The games may often be somewhat entertaining, the atmosphere may usually be very good, the fight for the CL and EL places and the battle against relegation may be usually nice. But Bayern always winning the league sucks, Leverkusen and Leipzig and Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim being there sucks. Many other clubs might be respectable, but also nothing special. Mainz and Augsburg, even Freiburg.
The 2nd Bundes is better in many ways: balanced, unpredictable, the football is still very good for the most part, many traditional big name clubs (Nürnberg, Düsseldorf, Hannover, Karlsruhe, Kaiserslautern, etc.), the teams are more German and less soulless
I could live with Bayern being the best overall, but what we've witnessed since 2013 is impossible to condone. More balance and more likable clubs, is that so much to ask for?

It would all be ok if the big clubs represented the nation because then ultimately if my smaller club loses i will support the biggest club in our country against the clubs of other nations
But of course we have lost that sentiment, that feeling
What we bemoan is a loss of nation,.to discuss clubs in this way is to really talk about the failure of globalism in our countries

Yes way too many shitty souless clubs in the first Bundes these days.

Wolfsburg
Hoffenheim
Heidenheim
Mainz
Augsburg
Freiburg
Leverkusen
Red Bull
St Pauli
even Union

all of them suck and are horribly boring

that leaves
Dortmund
HSV
Köln
Stuttgart
Frankfurt
Gladbach

Absolute cuckold mentality. You’d never see someone rooting for the lakers or Yankees in an international competition unless they were from those cities

They do have some sort of soul, their fans are dedicated and one must admit that the club has a real identity
But they are hilarious hypocrites in some ways and can be quite delusional when it comes to estimating their own history and relevance. They are also plain annoying all too often. Pauli is best off in the 2nd tier. But they have done good work in the last years and are a valid club all in all

Get Chiqui Tapia on the case.
He'll fix your league real quick. Imagine, if you will:

>30 team bundesliga, split into two groups of 15
>top 8 of each go into playoff stage, which begins with round of 16
>then quarterfinals, semifinals and the final
